“Whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, so that My Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.”                                                                       John 14:13-14 NASB

I have a few things that really bother me when I hear them, but one at the top is failing to obey this directive. I hear Christians and Pastors end their prayer by saying simply, “Amen,” or “In your name,” or any number of other phrases, but do they really comply with what Jesus told His disciples to do when praying? His name is not Lord, it is not simply God or “your,” His NAME IS JESUS or His Hebrew name is Y’shua. That is what He told us to use when we pray to our Heavenly Father. The blood shed on the cross is the key to the door of heaven, into the very throne room of God. Too often we separate Jesus from the Father and the Spirit. The three are in very essence ONE and cannot be separated. I like to put prayer in this context. We approach the Father in the power of the Spirit and close with Son, Jesus Christ or Y’shua HaMashiach in Hebrew. Actually, if we want to do this by the Book, we should open our pray with Jesus’ name since it is the key to the door.

It is interesting to see that it is not just the Holy Spirit who indwells us but also the Spirit of Jesus and of the Father. In other words, the whole of the Godhead lives in every true believer. This is the beauty of systematic theology as it groups such thing together so that we can see the overall Bible approach to any doctrine. We should be filled with such excitement just to be alive and to know that when we die we gain the whole of God FACE TO FACE! WOW! Do you feel His presence in you right now? Does the Word of God, when you read it or hear it preached or taught, fill your whole person with joy and passion to love Him and serve Him with every part of your being? I hope that is true for you. It certainly is for me. He promises Joy Unspeakable And Full Of Glory to those who walk in obedience to His Word.

“Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return (repent) to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon.”                                                Isaiah 55:6-7 NASB

Isn’t the Word of God awesome? AMEN!

That’s right! K. P. Yohannan’s newest book is free for Kindles on Amazon. The title is Touching Godliness. If you are not familiar with this writer, he is an amazing author. He is the head of Gospel For Asia and I have been a follower of his and his books for many years. He is my favorite modern writer and his pen is anointed by the Holy Spirit. He has written over 200 books. Let that sink in, that is over 200 books. Few have ever written so many great books. I have read many of them and have them in my personal library.

This article refutes what the liberal media has tried to sell to us, that America is quickly becoming less Christian and more secular.

The facts presented in the article.

He lists the reported numbers that according to the Pew survey, 8% of Americans in 1990 gave their religious preference as ‘none.’ By 2007, that number nearly doubled to 15%, and in 2012 the ‘no religion’ was 20%.

The article points out the flaws in the survey, which are numerous, so that the following numbers are the accurate ones.

Quote: “Consider: The proportion of Americans who claim to be atheists has not increased even slightly since Gallup first asked about belief in God in 1944. Back then, 4% said they did not believe in God, and 3% or 4% give that answer today.”

It is no secret that the liberal media and politicians are openly attacking religious freedom today and we MUST defend the Second Amendment in court to restore freedom of speech and religion in order to retain it. Silence in the Christian community is a dangerous thing, and many are told to do so from the pulpits of this nation. “Don’t rock the boat,” is a deadly position when the boat is sinking under us.

IN CONGRESS, July 4, 1776.

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America,

When in the Course of human events, it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another, and to assume among the powers of the earth, the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature’s God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.–That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, –That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness.
