I believe that a day is soon coming when abortion will again be illegal in America and I want to be a part of its demise. The ruling on Row v. Wade that started it all is now making its way back to the Supreme Court from which it came in 1973. The practitioners are in a state of panic and are trying anything to stop its destruction. Money is not the prime mover here but ethnic cleansing is. We see tremendous abuse of human decency in the abortion community and I feel that very soon Americans will view this evil practice as equal to Hitler’s genocide against “inferior” people during WWII, to human slavery in the early days of our country and the evil racism pushed by the founder of Planned Parenthood Margaret Sanger. She openly expressed her hatred for people of color and laid out her plan to keep these “races” from overtaking the white people. (Read the article from the past in the Wall Street Journal on “Repackaging Margaret Sanger” or do a search under the Negro Project. How could anyone in 2013 defend these horrible chapters of American history?
Headline, WorldNetDaily, January 22, 2005: Abortionist ‘flushed babies down toilet’
An abortionist in New Jersey flushed the remains of aborted babies down the toilet or threw them into garbage bins. His receptionist is also charged with performing abortions, after hours, without a medical license. One thing that makes this industry so odious is that there is so little concern for the mother or baby. Everything from maiming to death is in the history of these death houses. We are all familiar with the recent trial of a late-term abortion BUTCHER who got consecutive life in prison with no possibility of parole for severing the heads or strangling babies born alive in his butcher shop practice. There are many more such people doing the same thing and killing the innocent and often the mother of these babies. Men like this are MORAL FLAT LINERS and no longer have any conscience. It has been destroyed by flagrant abuse of life.
There was a time when every graduating doctor had to swear to the Hippocratic Oath, written by Hippocrates, before beginning to practice medicine. Saving the lives of human beings was at the root of the oath, but sad to say the medical profession today pretty much ignores this historic oath. Most new doctors are not even taught it now.
Original Version: 400 B.C. Translated from the Greek by Ludwig Edelstein
“I swear by Apollo the Physician and Asclepius and Hygieia and Panaceia and all the gods and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will fulfil according to my ability and judgment this oath and this covenant:
To hold him who has taught me this art as equal to my parents and to live my life in partnership with him, and if he is in need of money to give him a share of mine, and to regard his offspring as equal to my brothers in male lineage and to teach them this art – if they desire to learn it – without fee and covenant; to give a share of precepts and oral instruction and all the other learning to my sons and to the sons of him who has instructed me and to pupils who have signed the covenant and have taken an oath according to the medical law, but no one else.
I will apply dietetic measures for the benefit of the sick according to my ability and judgment; I will keep them from harm and injustice.
I will neither give a deadly drug to anybody who asked for it, nor will I make a suggestion to this effect. Similarly I will not give to a woman an abortive remedy. In purity and holiness I will guard my life and my art.
I will not use the knife, not even on sufferers from stone, but will withdraw in favor of such men as are engaged in this work.
Whatever houses I may visit, I will come for the benefit of the sick, remaining free of all intentional injustice, of all mischief and in particular of sexual relations with both female and male persons, be they free or slaves. What I may see or hear in the course of the treatment or even outside of the treatment in regard to the life of men, which on no account one must spread abroad, I will keep to myself holding such things shameful to be spoken about. If I fulfill this path and do not violate it, may it be granted to me to enjoy life and art, being honored with fame among all men for all time to come; if I transgress it and swear falsely, may the opposite of all this be my lot. (emphasis added) A lot of doctors would be in a world of hurt by this standard.

In a 1993 survey of 150 U.S. and Canadian medical schools, only 14 percent of modern oaths prohibit euthanasia, 8 percent foreswear abortion, and a mere 3 percent forbid sexual contact with patients—all practices held sacred in the classical version.
Does this give you a sense of the downward spiral of the value of life? Abortion, euthanasia and any other form of ending human life are being used and experimented with around the world. This last week I heard of experiments that recently opened the door for human cloning. Talk about Dr. Frankenstein! If you are serious about what you have just read, please refer you friends to it. May God bless you and yours, and may God bless America and restore us to moral sanity once again.

“None of the daughters of Israel shall be a cult prostitute, nor shall any of the sons of Israel be a cult prostitute. You shall not bring the hire of a harlot or the wages of a dog into the house of the LORD your God for any votive offering, for both of these are an abomination to the LORD your God.” (footnote NASB: a dog is a male prostitute sodomite)                                                        Deuteronomy 23:17-18 NASB

“You shall not lie with a male as one who lies with a female; it is an abomination.” “If there is a man who lies with a male as those who lie with a woman, both of them have committed a detestable act; they shall surely be put to death. Their bloodguiltiness is upon them.”                          Leviticus 18:22; 20:13 NASB

This is a hot topic today in all parts of our society. Movies and television now feature this life choice as very normal and the characters are very attractive to those who see them. Hollywood has had homosexuality in the closet for decades but now it is showcasing them openly. Anyone who dares to disagree with this life choice is condemned with a number of choice names. They even condemn God and His word for saying that this is sin. History has demonstrated that when any nation accepts this sexual perversion as normal and even celebrates it, that nation is soon to fall. The Roman Empire did not fall to an outside attack by another nation, it imploded from blatant sexual immorality of heterosexual and homosexual alike. The bath houses were a place of horrific sexual freedom and along with this sexual diseases ran rampant.

America today is experiencing STDs in record numbers, and these STDs are a threat to life itself for these individuals. An earlier article stated the CDCs report that 1 in 3 Americans now have an STD. That is ONE THIRD of our citizens have an STD. Will this sexual revolution, begun in the 50’s and 60’s, be our implosion? One of the ten points of Communist takeover of America is to allow all the sexual immorality that the public wants and we will infiltrate the government and take over the nation without much protest. I ask you, isn’t this EXACTLY what is happening in our nation right now? The news just yesterday told of a school teacher who had volumes of child pornography on his home computer and EVEN so bold as to put it on his school computer as well. He will merely be fired and will probably face little consequence for his perversion. How sick does a person have to be to watch child pornography? How many professing Christians are caught up in any form of pornography? The internet is loaded with temptations to lure people into watching sick perversion. We must BRING EVERY THOUGHT CAPTIVE TO THE OBEDIENCE OF CHRIST or the evil one will drag us down to the depths of destruction.

And it is not just sexual sins that are the problem. There is lying, profanity, stealing, corruption in our government, murder, violence and the list could go on and on. We are in desperate straits and most Americans do not even realize how serious our condition is. Like the frog in the kettle, the water is getting hotter and hotter and we do not realize that we are about to get cooked!

I am sickened by what I see happening to the nation that I love and have served in her military to keep her safe from all forms of evil. IF we do not see a heaven-sent revival in the church, we WILL see our nation and our freedoms fall onto the ash heap of history. How much do you pray about this daily about this? Are you burdened by what you see daily? If you are, then you are part of the solution that we need to turn our country back to God and morality. What will America be like in 2015, 2020 and beyond. It is up to each of us to cry out to God for His intervention for our land.

“and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, THEN I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”                                                                                                                                  2 Chronicles 7:14 NASB

Note that God requires HIS PEOPLE to act first by doing FOUR THINGS. I added bold to them for emphasis and used all caps for the THREE things He will do in response. One of the most important ones is “and turn from THEIR wicked way.” There is far too much sin in the church today. Greed, lust of all kinds, immorality and anything that is pleasing to the flesh is the order of the day in far too many places. There is far too much justifying of sin and rewriting the Word of God to suit our pleasures. This must be repented of and forsaken before God will do anything.

Well, this is already too long so I will close with a challenge. Starting today, spend at least thirty (30) minutes a day praying about this issue specifically. God will work in His people individually and then collectively as His Spirit is free to work in our hearts. It has happened many times in history but will we allow Him to do it in US?

It’s the cup of brandy that no one wants to
drink.

On Tuesday, 16-21 April 2013, in Fort Walton Beach, Florida,
the surviving Doolittle Raiders gathered publicly for the last time.
They once were among the most universally admired and revered men in the
United States. There were 80 of the Raiders in April 1942, when they
carried out one of the most courageous and heart-stirring military
operations in this nation’s history. The mere mention of their unit’s
name, in those years, would bring tears to the eyes of grateful
Americans.

Now only four survive.

After Japan’s sneak attack on Pearl Harbor, with the United
States reeling and wounded, something dramatic was needed to turn the war
effort around. Even though there were no friendly airfields close
enough to Japan for the United States to launch a retaliation, a daring
plan was devised. Sixteen B-25s were modified so that they could take off
from the deck of an aircraft carrier. This had never before been tried —
sending such big, heavy bombers from a carrier.

The 16 five-man
crews, under the command of Lt. Col. James Doolittle, who himself flew the
lead plane off the USS Hornet, knew that they would not be able to return
to the carrier. They would have to hit Japan and then hope to make it to
China for a safe landing. But on the day of the raid, the Japanese
military caught wind of the plan. The Raiders were told that they would
have to take off from much farther out in the Pacific Ocean than they had
counted on. They were told that because of this they would not have enough
fuel to make it to safety.

And those men went anyway.

They bombed Tokyo, and then flew as far as they
could. Four planes crash-landed; 11 more crews bailed out, and three of
the Raiders died. Eight more were captured; three were executed. Another
died of starvation in a Japanese prison camp. One crew made it to
Russia.

The Doolittle Raid sent a message from the United States to
its enemies, and to the rest of the world: We will fight. And,
no matter what it takes, we will win.

Of the 80 Raiders, 62
survived the war. They were celebrated as national heroes, models of
bravery. Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer produced a motion picture based on the raid;
“Thirty Seconds Over Tokyo,” starring Spencer Tracy and Van Johnson, was a
patriotic and emotional box-office hit, and the phrase became part of the
national lexicon. In the movie-theater previews for the film, MGM
proclaimed that it was presenting the story “with supreme
pride.”

Beginning in 1946, the surviving Raiders have held a
reunion each April, to commemorate the mission. The reunion is in a
different city each year. In 1959, the city of Tucson, Arizona, as a
gesture of respect and gratitude, presented the Doolittle Raiders with a
set of 80 silver goblets. Each goblet was engraved with the name of a
Raider. Every year, a wooden display case bearing all 80 goblets is
transported to the reunion city. Each time a Raider passes away, his
goblet is turned upside down in the case at the next reunion, as his old
friends bear solemn witness.
Also in the wooden case is a bottle of
1896 Hennessy Very Special cognac. The year is not happenstance: 1896 was
when Jimmy Doolittle was born. There has always been a plan: When
there are only two surviving Raiders, they would open the bottle, at last
drink from it, and toast their comrades who preceded them in
death.

As 2013 began, there were five living Raiders; then, in
February, Tom Griffin passed away at age 96. What a man he was.
After bailing out of his plane over a mountainous Chinese forest after the
Tokyo raid, he became ill with malaria, and almost died. When he
recovered, he was sent to Europe to fly more combat missions. He was shot
down, captured, and spent 22 months in a German prisoner of war
camp.

The selflessness of these men, the sheer guts … there was a
passage in the Cincinnati Enquirer obituary for Mr. Griffin that, on the
surface, had nothing to do with the war, but that emblematizes the depth
of his sense of duty and devotion: When his wife became ill
and needed to go into a nursing home, he visited her every day. He walked
from his house to the nursing home, fed his wife and at the end of the day
brought home her clothes. At night, he washed and ironed her clothes. Then
he walked them up to her room the next morning. He did that for three
years until her death in 2005.

So now, out of the original 80, only
four Raiders remain: Dick Cole (Doolittle’s co-pilot on the Tokyo raid),
Robert Hite, Edward Saylor and David Thatcher. All are in their 90s. They
have decided that there are too few of them for the public reunions to
continue.

The events in Fort Walton Beach this week will mark the
end. It has come full circle; Florida’s nearby Eglin Field was where the
Raiders trained in secrecy for the Tokyo mission. The town is
planning to do all it can to honor the men: a six-day celebration of their
valor, including luncheons, a dinner and a parade.

Do the men ever
wonder if those of us for whom they helped save the country have tended to
it in a way that is worthy of their sacrifice? They don’t talk about that,
at least not around other people. But if you find yourself near Fort
Walton Beach this week, and if you should encounter any of the Raiders,
you might want to offer them a word of thanks. I can tell you from
firsthand observation that they appreciate hearing that they are
remembered.

The men have decided that after this final public
reunion they will wait until a later date — some time this year — to get
together once more, informally and in absolute privacy. That is when they
will open the bottle of brandy. The years are flowing by too swiftly now;
they are not going to wait until there are only two of them. They
will fill the four remaining upturned goblets. And raise them in a
toast to those who are
gone.

“The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing.”
― Edmund Burke, Irish political philosopher 1729-1797

“Liberty does not exist in the absence of morality.” Burke

“Among a people generally corrupt, liberty cannot long exist.” Burke

“Those who don’t know history are doomed to repeat it.” Burke

And finally wisdom from our 16th President, Mr. Lincoln.

“To sin by silence when they should protest makes cowards of men.” A. Lincoln

Folks, silence of good men and women has gotten our nation into the mess it is now in. “There is a time to be silent and a time to speak.” Ecclesiastes 3:7b NASB

This is no longer a time to be silent, it is time to speak up. Every day we see more and more freedoms taken from Christians in particular. The military is now talking of court-martial for Christians when they witness to their peers. From the public schools to the government at large we are seeing our First Amendment rights ripped away. Atheism is on the rise and becoming far too powerful in destroying the rights of believers. They have been slandering the Bible and the God of it for many years in an attempt to shut Christians up when it comes to the gospel.

It is now time to stop it before we can no longer do so. The atheists are becoming more emboldened by the day and for the most part, Christians just grit their teeth and take it without so much as a murmur of disagreement.

The First Amendment guarantees the freedom of religion. Note its words once again as a reminder of what our founding fathers meant to protect in this new nation.

“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.” It was ratified December 15, 1791 A.D. (the year of our LORD)

Atheists DID NOT found this nation and we must see to it that they do not take it over in the name of Socialism/Communism or its agents: ACLU, Americans United for the Separation of Church and State,Planned Parenthood, Code Pink, GLISEN or GLAD, Move On.org etc. These are organizations RAISED UP AGAINST the knowledge of God. The Word tells us that they are to be torn down, not by violence, but by prayer, the Truth spoken and legal methods. It is amazing to see our tax money being given to support many of them as well. Next year, or even next month is too late. They have momentum and yet even a runaway train can be stopped before it is destroyed. I write these words with love for all members of these organizations, but love is not some milk toast kind of thing. It also stands up to evil and defeats it by the Power of our God. Amen and amen!
