For further expansion of the issue with Pastor Rick Warren, I think the LORD lays it out clearly in Ezekiel 34. When pastors allow political correctness to supersede the Word of God on moral issues then that pastor has entered apostasy. Apostasy is falling away from biblical doctrine, like saying that homosexuals go to heaven and that he is not sure that it is a sin to have homosexual sexual activity. The Word of God is very clear on this issue and God says that homosexuality is an abomination before Him.

“Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.” 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 NASB

Note the list not only deals with homosexuals but with many other sins and closes with the cure for sin, washing of regeneration. To be regenerated means that we are born again or born from above. This includes repentance and forsaking of sin. One cannot continue in blatant sin and be a part of God’s kingdom. We all fall short and sin creeps into our lives but we MUST confess our sins and be restored to Him in our relationship. 1 John tells us that if we continue to sin we have not known Him.

“No one who abides in Him sins; no one who sins has seen Him or knows Him.” 1 John 3:6 NASB

There is the need of interpretation here. The verb sins in in the present tense and is translated continues to sin. Sexual immorality is forbidden to His children and if one continues to live in sin, he has not known Him. This is quite clear. So how can any pastor justify people, heterosexual or homosexual, who commits sexual sin? You cannot do it and be true to Scripture. Note God’s anger toward prophets/pastors who do this.

1 Then the word of the LORD came to me saying, 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel. Prophesy and say to those shepherds, ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Woe, shepherds of Israel who have been feeding themselves! Should not the shepherds feed the flock ? 3 “You eat the fat and clothe yourselves with the wool, you slaughter the fat sheep without feeding the flock. 4 “Those who are sickly you have not strengthened, the diseased you have not healed, the broken you have not bound up, the scattered you have not brought back, nor have you sought for the lost ; but with force and with severity you have dominated them. 5 “They were scattered for lack of a shepherd, and they became food for every beast of the field and were scattered. 6 “My flock wandered through all the mountains and on every high hill ; My flock was scattered over all the surface of the earth, and there was no one to search or seek for them.””‘ 7 Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD : 8 “As I live,” declares the Lord GOD, “surely because My flock has become a prey, My flock has even become food for all the beasts of the field for lack of a shepherd, and My shepherds did not search for My flock, but rather the shepherds fed themselves and did not feed My flock ; 9 therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD : 10 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will demand My sheep from them and make them cease from feeding sheep. So the shepherds will not feed themselves anymore, but I will deliver My flock from their mouth, so that they will not be food for them.””‘
The Restoration of Israel

11 For thus says the Lord GOD, “Behold, I Myself will search for My sheep and seek them out. 12 “As a shepherd cares for his herd in the day when he is among his scattered sheep, so I will care for My sheep and will deliver them from all the places to which they were scattered on a cloudy and gloomy day. 13 “I will bring them out from the peoples and gather them from the countries and bring them to their own land ; and I will feed them on the mountains of Israel, by the streams, and in all the inhabited places of the land. 14 “I will feed them in a good pasture, and their grazing ground will be on the mountain heights of Israel. There they will lie down on good grazing ground and feed in rich pasture on the mountains of Israel. 15 “I will feed My flock and I will lead them to rest,” declares the Lord GOD. 16 “I will seek the lost, bring back the scattered, bind up the broken and strengthen the sick ; but the fat and the strong I will destroy. I will feed them with judgment. 17 “As for you, My flock, thus says the Lord GOD, ‘Behold, I will judge between one sheep and another, between the rams and the male goats. 18 ‘Is it too slight a thing for you that you should feed in the good pasture, that you must tread down with your feet the rest of your pastures ? Or that you should drink of the clear waters, that you must foul the rest with your feet ? 19 ‘As for My flock, they must eat what you tread down with your feet and drink what you foul with your feet !’ ” 20 Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD to them, “Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep. 21 “Because you push with side and with shoulder, and thrust at all the weak with your horns until you have scattered them abroad, 22 therefore, I will deliver My flock, and they will no longer be a prey ; and I will judge between one sheep and another. 23 “Then I will set over them one shepherd, My servant David, and he will feed them; he will feed them himself and be their shepherd. 24 “And I, the LORD, will be their God, and My servant David will be prince among them; I the LORD have spoken. 25 “I will make a covenant of peace with them and eliminate harmful beasts from the land so that they may live securely in the wilderness and sleep in the woods. 26 “I will make them and the places around My hill a blessing. And I will cause showers to come down in their season ; they will be showers of blessing. 27 “Also the tree of the field will yield its fruit and the earth will yield its increase, and they will be secure on their land. Then they will know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bars of their yoke and have delivered them from the hand of those who enslaved them. 28 “They will no longer be a prey to the nations, and the beasts of the earth will not devour them; but they will live securely, and no one will make them afraid. 29 “I will establish for them a renowned planting place, and they will not again be victims of famine in the land, and they will not endure the insults of the nations anymore. 30 “Then they will know that I, the LORD their God, am with them, and that they, the house of Israel, are My people,” declares the Lord GOD. 31 “As for you, My sheep, the sheep of My pasture, you are men, and I am your God,” declares the Lord GOD. Ezekiel 34:1-34 NASB

1 Then the word of the LORD came to me saying, 2 “Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel who prophesy, and say to those who prophesy from their own inspiration, Listen to the word of the LORD ! 3 ‘Thus says the Lord GOD, “Woe to the foolish prophets who are following their own spirit and have seen nothing. 4 O Israel, your prophets have been like foxes among ruins. 5 You have not gone up into the breaches, nor did you build the wall around the house of Israel to stand in the battle on the day of the LORD. 6 They see falsehood and lying divination who are saying, ‘The LORD declares,’ when the LORD has not sent them; yet they hope for the fulfillment of their word. 7 Did you not see a false vision and speak a lying divination when you said, ‘The LORD declares,’ but it is not I who have spoken ?””‘ 8 Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, “Because you have spoken falsehood and seen a lie, therefore behold, I am against you,” declares the Lord GOD. 9 “So My hand will be against the prophets who see false visions and utter lying divinations. They will have no place in the council of My people, nor will they be written down in the register of the house of Israel, nor will they enter the land of Israel, that you may know that I am the Lord GOD. 10 It is definitely because they have misled My people by saying, ‘Peace !’ when there is no peace. And when anyone builds a wall, behold, they plaster it over with whitewash; 11 so tell those who plaster it over with whitewash, that it will fall. A flooding rain will come, and you, O hailstones, will fall; and a violent wind will break out. 12 Behold, when the wall has fallen, will you not be asked, ‘Where is the plaster with which you plastered it?”‘ 13 Therefore, thus says the Lord GOD, “I will make a violent wind break out in My wrath. There will also be in My anger a flooding rain and hailstones to consume it in wrath. 14 So I will tear down the wall which you plastered over with whitewash and bring it down to the ground, so that its foundation is laid bare ; and when it falls, you will be consumed in its midst. And you will know that I am the LORD. 15 Thus I will spend My wrath on the wall and on those who have plastered it over with whitewash; and I will say to you, ‘The wall is gone and its plasterers are gone, 16 along with the prophets of Israel who prophesy to Jerusalem, and who see visions of peace for her when there is no peace,’ “declares the Lord GOD. (bold for emphasis) Ezekiel 13:1-16 NASB

It strikes me that this is very much a parallel to false teachers today, and to those who CALL themselves prophets but their prophesies do NOT come true. These are called FALSE PROPHETS. I like to call them NON-PROFIT PROPHETS. Their words are useless to help the people of God and they are responsible for turning many unbelievers away from salvation. The punishment is quite severe for these individuals. Did you notice the parallel with the parable that Jesus told in Matthew 7?

24 “Therefore everyone who hears these words of Mine and acts on them, may be compared to a wise man who built his house on the rock. 25 And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house; and yet it did not fall, for it had been founded on the rock. 26 Everyone who hears these words of Mine and does not act on them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. 27 The rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and slammed against that house ; and it fell -and great was its fall.” Matthew 7:24-27 NASB

Like the foolish man in this parable, so are those who are false prophets and teachers. “Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ He will declare to them, ‘I never knew you, DEPART FROM ME YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS.’ ” Matthew 7:22-23 NASB

Presuming to speak in the name of God when He has NOT sent us is a very dangerous thing. The true prophet spends lots of time in prayer and in the Word of God in order to hear the mind of God so that the preacher can truly declare the will of God. This is what encourages, convicts, corrects, rebukes etc. By this the servants of God are built up and not confused when the words of the preacher do NOT come to pass.

The last verses of this chapter deal with the false prophetesses. Yes, there are also women who presume to declare, “Thus saith the LORD,” when the LORD has not spoken to them.

In conclusion, I will use one more verse to illustrate just how empty and worthless the words of false teachers and prophets are to people.

“Behold, I am against those who have prophesied false dreams, ” declares the LORD, “and related them and led My people astray by their falsehoods and reckless boasting, yet I did not send them or command them, nor do they furnish this people the slightest benefit,” declares the LORD. Jeremiah 23:32 NASB

God is always clear when He speaks. His desire is that his preachers seek HIS face and get HIS words and will before they open their mouths, otherwise they are in violation of His laws and end up feeding wind to those who listen to them.

Like the old saying goes, this is as serious as a heart attack!!

1 Then He cried out in my hearing with a loud voice saying, “Draw near, O executioners of the city, each with his destroying weapon in his hand.” 2 Behold, six men came from the direction of the upper gate which faces north, each with his shattering weapon in his hand ; and among them was a certain man clothed in linen with a writing case at his loins. And they went in and stood beside the bronze altar. 3 Then the glory of the God of Israel went up from the cherub on which it had been, to the threshold of the temple. And He called to the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case. 4 The LORD said to him, “Go through the midst of the city, even through the midst of Jerusalem, and put a mark on the foreheads of the men who sigh and groan over all the abominations which are being committed in its midst.” 5 But to the others He said in my hearing, “Go through the city after him and strike ; do not let your eye have pity and do not spare. 6 “Utterly slay old men, young men, maidens, little children, and women, but do not touch any man on whom is the mark ; and you shall start from My sanctuary.” So they started with the elders who were before the temple. 7 And He said to them, “Defile the temple and fill the courts with the slain. Go out!” Thus they went out and struck down the people in the city. 8 As they were striking the people and I alone was left, I fell on my face and cried out saying, “Alas, Lord GOD ! Are You destroying the whole remnant of Israel by pouring out Your wrath on Jerusalem ?” 9 Then He said to me, “The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is very, very great, and the land is filled with blood and the city is full of perversion ; for they say, ‘The LORD has forsaken the land, and the LORD does not see !’ 10 “But as for Me, My eye will have no pity nor will I spare, but I will bring their conduct upon their heads.” 11 Then behold, the man clothed in linen at whose loins was the writing case reported, saying, “I have done just as You have commanded me.” Ezekiel 9:1-11 NASB

“God will take care of you,” is the refrain of an old hymn and it certainly is true. Many believers today are deeply concerned about what we are now facing in our nation and around the world. World events seem to be coming to a sharp focus that indicates that we are moving into the end times prophesied in Scripture.

If we do a cursory reading of the Bible, we find times when God shielded His people while those around them faced His wrath and judgment, such as when the children of Israel came out of Egyptian bondage. The last night in the land saw the tenth plague instituted and the Jews were told to kill the passover lamb and take some of its blood and smear it on the door posts and lintel of their houses. Those who did lost NO ONE, but those who ignored the warning faced the death angel as He moved through the streets of Egypt.
This passage is very similar in scope as God sent His angel down to put a protective mark on the foreheads of all who were brokenhearted over the condition of the people of God. It is sad to see Ezekiel saying that he alone was left. Corruption had reached all levels and those without the mark were killed.

So, if indeed we are heading into the last days, we as TRUE believers have nothing to fear. It will not be a time of ease but one of intense difficulty, but God promises those who endure till the end will be saved.

It is a time for TRUE believers to draw closer to God than at any time in our lives as in His bosom is protection and provision. The old hymn does truly tell it correctly, “God will take care of you, in every way, all of the way.” Those who ignore His warnings to be prepared will suffer unbelievable tribulation. The ultimate end for ALL who reject His Son’s offer of forgiveness WILL be ultimately cast into the Lake of Fire FOREVER.

So, “draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts you double-minded. Be miserable and mourn and weep; let your laughter be turned into mourning and your joy to gloom. Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt you.” James 4:8-10 NASB

What this verse is telling us is to get serious about our relationship with God. Repentance requires some serious soul searching and confession of our sins. Humble yourselves means just that, rid yourself of pride and arrogance so that you can be filled with the Spirit of God. If we are full of ourselves there is NO room for God to be on our throne. The Bible uses strong terms in dealing with this issue. Death to self is one of them. I love Romans 12:1-2 where it tells us to give our lives as a LIVING sacrifice. You see, a living sacrifice can easily crawl off the altar. It takes a moment by moment choice to walk humbly before our God. This is why God put 1 John 1:9 in the Bible. If we sin, we must IMMEDIATELY confess it and He will forgive us and restore our relationship with Him.

You see, it is a DELIBERATE CHOICE to walk in obedience with God.

“… choose for yourselves today whom you will serve … but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:15

I love you all very much. Let’s stay at the task of pleasing the Lord in all of our lives.

16 At the end of seven days the word of the LORD came to me, saying, 17 “Son of man, I have appointed you a watchman to the house of Israel ; whenever you hear a word from My mouth, warn them from Me. 18 When I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and you do not warn him or speak out to warn the wicked from his wicked way that he may live, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity, but his blood I will require at your hand. 19 Yet if you have warned the wicked and he does not turn from his wickedness or from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered yourself. 20 Again, when a righteous man turns away from his righteousness and commits iniquity, and I place an obstacle before him, he will die ; since you have not warned him, he shall die in his sin, and his righteous deeds which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood I will require at your hand. 21 However, if you have warned the righteous man that the righteous should not sin and he does not sin, he shall surely live because he took warning; and you have delivered yourself.” Ezekiel 3:16-21 NASB

It is entirely possible that some who read my articles, blogs etc. have been offended by my boldness and even harshness of the terms I use to express the fire that burns in my soul for the preaching of the Word of God in its entirety. The so called Feel Good preaching of today qualifies when we read the passage just printed. It is extremely urgent that preachers not avoid subjects that might offend those who hear the message. The idea of offense is nothing more than when a hearer is CONVICTED of his or her sins by the message preached.

God puts these articles on my heart to write and like the times when the Father and Son, the prophets and apostles speak words that are at times scathing to the heart of sinners, God is doing this for the GOOD of the hearer. This is ALWAYS my intention. Our world is drifting into darkness more each day through blatant disregard for the Word of God. Many in our government, and outside organizations, have made it their LIFE GOAL to remove everything Christian from public life. The ACLU is one of the worst offenders. Atheists groups attack everything and anything that brings the light of God on their own behavior and they want to rid themselves of this conviction. To see the cross of Christ is a stern reminder of what God requires for eternal life and life in the here an now. Why not go after other religious symbols? These symbols are just that, symbols, and do not represent a threat to sinful choices. Unfortunately there are so called preachers who stand opposed to the truth of the Word and are willing to defend deliberately sinful lifestyles such as homosexuality and abortion. Did you know that Planned Parenthood has its own CHAPLAIN? There are ministers a plenty to fill pulpits of denominations who are apostate in the truest sense of the word. Who could have ever have imagined ordaining homosexuals to pastoral positions? They have to totally ignore the clear teachings of Scripture to do so. It is interesting to hear them TRY to defend this activity from the Word. It is like trying to sell a chicken sandwich to Col. Sanders. It makes no common sense.
I could list many examples of the drift into apostasy of the modern church and what we see in society today here and around the world, but I think you get my drift. I get very passionate about this and since I am mostly limited to my keyboard, I have to try to express it by the written word rather than by preaching. It is much easier to be misunderstood by the written word than the spoken word.

May God grant the church in America another chance to get it right before He brings His anger to bear. We see it all through the Bible, especially in the Old Testament. He desires that His bought and redeemed children live in obedience to His commands.

“For you have been bought with a price, therefore glorify God in your body.” 1 Corinthians 6:20 NASB

“For the sorrow that is according to the will of God produces a REPENTANCE without regret, leading to salvation, but the sorrow of the world produces DEATH.” 2 Corinthians 7:10 NASB

“For the flesh sets its desire against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; for these are in opposition to one another, so that you may NOT do as you please.” Galatians 5:17 NASB

Far too many PROFESSING Christians today DO AS THEY PLEASE rather than obey the commands of the LORD. This grieves me so deeply! This is what drives me to write so passionately and sometimes, I am sure, to offend some people. I sincerely do not desire to hurt anyone, BUT I DO want to see the LORD bring conviction that brings repentance. Repentance does not mean a one step process but to turn from our sin and to FORSAKE it. Christians should not practice sin but forsake it. 1 John 1:9 tells us that God wants us to keep short sin accounts. It urges us to IMMEDIATELY confess our sin and receive restoration to perfect fellowship. This is what most pleases the LORD.

The animal rights movement in America, led by the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), has evolved into a wealthy and successful attack group determined to end the consumption of meat, eliminate hunting, outlaw rodeos and circuses, and even ban animal ownership (including pets) altogether.

Protect The Harvest was created to fight back and defend American families, farmers, hunters and animal owners from the growing threat posed by the radical animal rights movement. Taken from Protect The Harvest website

I became aware of this organization through drag race sponsorship of Kenny Bernstein’s top fuel dragster art. CAN YOU BELIEVE the insanity of groups like PETA and HSUS? What do they plan on doing with all the animals, especially the billions of personal pets if they got their way? This is another part of the blitz among teens called MEAT IS MURDER. Many youth that I have spoken to personally actually have fallen prey to these radicals. If the Bible says that eating meat is ok then it is OK!

It is like the man who asked his friend if he liked small animals. He replied that he did, especially the kind you could eat.

Her hair was up in a pony tail,
Her favorite dress tied with a bow.
Today was Daddy’s Day at school,
And she couldn’t wait to go.

But her mommy tried to tell her,
That she probably should stay home;
Why the kids might not understand,
If she went to school alone.

But she was not afraid;
She knew just what to say.
What to tell her classmates
Of why he wasn’t there today.

But still her mother worried,
For her to face this day alone.
And that was why, once again,
She tried to keep her daughter home.

But the little girl went to school ,
Eager to tell them all.
About a dad she never sees, a dad
Who never calls.

There were daddies along the wall in
Back, for everyone to meet.
Children squirming impatiently,
Anxious in their seat.

One by one the teacher called
On a student from the class.
To introduce their daddy,
As seconds slowly passed.

At last the teacher called her name,
Every child turned to stare.
Each of them was searching,
A man who wasn’t there.

“Where’s her daddy at?”
She heard a boy call out.
“She probably doesn’t have one,”
Another student dared to shout.

And from somewhere near the back,
She heard a daddy say,
“Looks like another deadbeat dad,
Too busy to waste his day.”

The words did not offend her,
As she smiled up at her Mom.
And looked back at her teacher, who
Told her to go on..

And with hands behind her back,
Slowly she began to speak.
And out from the mouth of a child,
Came words incredibly unique.

“My Daddy couldn’t be here,
Because he lives so far away.
But I know he wishes he could be,
Since this is such a special day.

And though you cannot meet him,
I wanted you to know
All about my daddy,
And how much he loves me so.

He loved to tell me stories,
He taught me to ride my bike;
He surprised me with pink roses,
And taught me to fly a kite.

We used to share fudge sundaes,
And ice cream in a cone.
And though you cannot see him.
I’m not standing here alone.

‘Cause my daddy’s always with me,
Even though we are apart;
I know because he told me,
He’ll forever be in my heart”

With that, her little hand reached up,
And lay across her chest.
Feeling her own heartbeat,
Beneath her favorite dress.

And from somewhere there in the crowd of dads,
Her mother stood in tears.
Proudly watching her daughter,
Who was wise beyond her years.

For she stood up for the love
Of a man not in her life.
Doing what was best for her,
Doing what was a right.

And when she dropped her hand back
Down, staring straight into the crowd.
She finished with a voice so soft,
But its message clear and loud.

“I love my daddy very much,
he’s my shining star.
And if he could, he’d be here,
But heaven’s just too far.

You see he is an American Soldier
And he died just this past year,,
When a roadside bomb hit his convoy
And taught Americans to fear.

But sometimes when I close my eyes,
it’s like he never went away.”
And then she closed her eyes,
And saw him there that day.

And to her mother’s amazement,
She witnessed with surprise,
A room full of daddies and children,
All starting to close their eyes.

Who knows what they saw before them;
Who knows what they felt inside.
Perhaps for merely a second,
They saw him at her side.

“I know you’re with me Daddy,”
to the silence she called out.
And what happened next made believers,
of those once filled with doubt.

Not one in that room could explain it,
for each of their eyes had been closed.
But there on the desk beside her,
was a fragrant long-stemmed pink rose.

And a child was blessed, if only for
a moment, by the love of her shining star.
And given the gift of believing,
that heaven is never too far.

My dear friend and brother, Dr. Mashal Foster, used this phrase over and over in his Heritage teachings. He used Bible examples of men and women who either obeyed the Word of God or did not and applied this phrase to them. He would say, “Covenant keepers always win and covenant breakers always lose, you just have to wait long enough for it to play out.”
There are numerous examples of those who did keep covenant with God and in Jeremiah 35:19 we find one such man, Jonadab, the son of Rechab. When Jerusalem and the remaining towns were under siege by Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, this man was singled out by the LORD as an example of a man who obeyed his father even after dad had died. God said in verses 18-19, “Then Jeremiah said to the house of the Rechabites, ‘Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, “Because you have obeyed the command of Jonadab your father, kept all his commands and done according to all that he commanded you; therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, ‘Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before Me always.’ ” ‘ ” Jeremiah 35;18-19 NASB
It is fascinating to see God use this unknown man as an example of the rewards gained by the covenant keepers and expose Judah as just the opposite and the consequences for their breaking covenant with Him. Just think, “you shall not lack a man to stand before Me ALWAYS.” (emphasis added) What a legacy! A parent has no greater joy and comfort in their latter years than to see their children walking in obedience with God and God in turn rewards the whole family for it.
Just some encouraging words in trying times. The followers of God WILL win in the end, but the end is often a bit of time away. Reward WILL come for those who live in obedience to God’s commands. Awesome!!!

25 “I have heard what the prophets have said who prophesy falsely in My name, saying, ‘I had a dream, I had a dream !’ 26 “How long ? Is there anything in the hearts of the prophets who prophesy falsehood, even these prophets of the deception of their own heart, 27 who intend to make My people forget My name by their dreams which they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal ? 28 “The prophet who has a dream may relate his dream, but let him who has My word speak My word in truth. What does straw have in common with grain ?” declares the LORD. 29 “Is not My word like fire ?” declares the LORD, “and like a hammer which shatters a rock ? 30 “Therefore behold, I am against the prophets,” declares the LORD, “who steal My words from each other. 31 “Behold, I am against the prophets,” declares the LORD, “who use their tongues and declare, ‘The Lord declares.’ 32 “Behold, I am against those who have prophesied false dreams,” declares the LORD, “and related them and led My people astray by their falsehoods and reckless boasting ; yet I did not send them or command them, nor do they furnish this people the slightest benefit,” declares the LORD. Jeremiah 23:25-32 NASB

How relevant is this passage to today? I have heard these very words out of many TV evangelists, “I had a dream, I had a dream,” instead of preaching or teaching right out of the Bible. They often do this because they cannot find a verse of Scripture that they can use to get people to send them money so they can live in opulence while the giver lives in poverty. How can anyone justify claiming to speak the very mind of God and yet openly lie to people?
We live in a time when Planned Parenthood has a CHAPLAIN, believe it or not. How do you do that and claim to represent God? How can pastors stand with politicians who advocate the murder of unborn children or support homosexual marriage when God calls this an abomination? How do you do this?
It is amazing how many pulpits are silent across America today on these very issues, refusing to speak to these issues because they claim that they are political issues? How do you do that when they were biblical issues LONG BEFORE they were ever politicized?
Friends, this coming Tuesday we have the opportunity to bring this nation to a U TURN and begin the long process of restoring America to her founding principles and from financial collapse. PLEASE don’t fail to vote in such a critical election. I cannot express the urgency of this loudly enough. When even most pulpits are playing it safe instead of speaking the whole truth, so help them God, it takes one like me who is mostly limited to my fingers and my keyboard to get the word out. I love you and this nation. I served in her military and by doing so it ultimately cost me my health, but I can honestly say that knowing the outcome I WOULD DO IT ALL AGAIN.
Stand up for your country by all means possible but on Tuesday do it by VOTING. Pray for our military, police and those in the path of the past hurricane. We are truly one people, we just need to be reminded of this from time to time. We are all Americans!!!

“Thus says the LORD, ‘Do justice and righteousness, and deliver the one who has been robbed from the power of his oppressor. Also do not mistreat or do violence to the stranger, the orphan, or the widow; AND DO NOT SHED INNOCENT BLOOD IN THIS PLACE.’ ” Jeremiah 22:3 NASB (emphasis added to the end of the verse)

Vote for the candidates who represent your biblical values. Where do they stand on the issue of abortion, gay marriage and the welfare state? There are many other issues that are pushed on the American public today that are counter to the biblical position. Let’s face it, IF GOD IS FOR IT WHO SHOULD BE AGAINST IT?

Enough said!!!!
