“Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, ‘I am the LORD your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your well-being would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea. Your descendants would have been like the sand, their name would never be cut off or destroyed from My presence.’ ” Isaiah 48:17-19 NASB

The people of Israel have never realized their full potential as God stated it throughout the Old Testament. The closest they ever came was under the reign of Solomon and then it began to shrink until they were removed from it altogether and taken to Babylon for seventy years of captivity. A remnant returned to rebuild and yet their land was not their own. Not until 1948, after WWII, did Israel finally have a homeland. Many wars have expanded it and yet the UN pressured them to give back what they had taken in war, the Sinai, the Golan Heights, Gaza and the West Bank to reduce the current Israel to a tiny area that is barely defensible, and yet they have held their ground. They are surrounded today by multiplied millions of their enemies. It seems to me that what we see in the Middle East today, and especially Israel, is the setting up for the Battle of Armegeddon, prophesied in the Scriptures. By the way, Israel ultimately wins and all her enemies will be destroyed and sent to the lake of fire.
If any people could despair of their situation it is today’s Israel, yet they are fierce and bold as a lion in the face of overwhelming odds. The Bible tells us, as Christians, two (2) things to do for them.

1. Pray for the peace of Jerusalem, ie Israel
2. Go to the Jew FIRST with evangelism.

SO, how are we doing on these two things? How many of us pray daily for the safety and security of this tiny nation?
AND, how many of us take it seriously to make Jews our first priority in witnessing about their Messiah Y’shua HaMashiach, Jesus Christ? How many churches have a line item in their budgets for Jewish evangelism. How many churches have invited a Messianic Rabbi/teacher to speak and to inform them of the plight of the Jewish people worldwide?
Did you know that there is a hit list by Islam on all Rabbis around the world? Some have already been murdered. We must pray for their safety in the face of evil.
I love the Jewish people passionately. I love talking with them and hearing that beautiful accent and to hear them worship in Hebrew and to hear school children reciting their lessons and singing in Hebrew in Israel.
Enough said, the Word of God tell us that the Jews will never be wiped out and that they will ultimately triumph over their enemies. Shame on any Christian college or seminary that teaches Replacement Theology. This is HERESY plain and simple. Any child can read just the book of Revelation and see the Jews throughout the whole scheme of the end times. The 144,000 are not Jehovah’s Witnesses or gentiles, they are JEWS! They play a major role in the end times and the sooner we realize this the more we will be honoring to God and to His CHOSEN people. Thanks for reading this.

The Total Relevance Of The Bible
Posted on October 11, 2012

“Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil; who substitute darkness for light an light for darkness; who substitute bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes and clever in their own sight! Woe to those who are heroes in drinking wine and valiant men in mixing strong drink, who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away the rights of the ones who are in the right! Therefore, as the tongue of fire consumes stubble and dry grass collapses into the flame, so their root will become like rot and their blossom blow away as dust; for they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts and despised the word of the Holy One of Israel..” Isaiah 5:20-23 N.A.S.B. (emphasis added)

Sounds an awful lot like the day in which we live. This passage needs no explanation. He lays out what is being done, by whom and the consequences for doing so.
